Երբ

Երբ խաղաղության քարոզիչները կատարեալ խելագարութեամբ

Լեցուած վախով անվստահութեամբ և հաղթելու կամքի սնանկութեամբ

Նոր բացատրութիւններ կը հնարեն զանցառութիւններ արդարացնելու:

Երբ գործատերերը հայրենահզոր աշխատանքի առիթներու փոխարէն

Ամենեարագ և եսամոլ միչոցներով հարստանալու ծուղակներ կը լարեն:

և ահաւասիկ ան որ առիաբար ու պարկեշտութեամբ հաղթանակելու

արուեստին ուսուցիչը պիտի դարնար հիմա զոհուած ու թաղուած է՝

իսկ ողջ մնացողները ճաշարաննրու և սրճարաններու մէջ սպասարկելով

իրենց ընտանիքներուն ամենօրուայ կարիքները մատակարարելով զբաղած են:

և ահաւասիկ ան որ ցոյց պիտի տար նվաճել արդարութեան և իրավունքի

լայնածավալ հորիզոններ՝ մարդասիրական բանակներ պիտի առաջնորդէր

լուսարցակելով չքաւորութեան և անարդարութեան մութ տարածքները՝

հիմա ան կը հանգստանա հարաւային երկրագունդի տաք կղզիներուն մէջ:

Հոգնած ու յուսախափ են ամբոխները որոնք հայրենիքի ազատագրման համար

ոտքի ելան փողոքելու, արյան գնով պայքարելու և վերատիրանալու իրենց հողին:

Հոգնած, հարբած, և յղբացած են ամբոխները որոնք ժողովրդավարութեան համար

Քայլելով հանդերց հազարաւորներ կը ծախսէին արտերկիր ապաստանելու:

When?

When the preachers of peace with complete madness

Filled with fear, distrust and a bankruptcy of the will to win

New explanations are invented to justify crimes.

When employers instead of patriotic job opportunities

They are setting traps to get rich with the fastest and most selfish tricks.

and here is one of our leaders who was to teach the art of winning

with valor and dignity, alas he has been murdered and buried.

The other surviving leaders are serving in restaurants and cafes

extremely busy providing the daily needs of their families.

and he who would prove to conquer vast horizons of justice and right

would lead humanitarian armies to conquer new boundaries of dignity

shedding light on dark areas of poverty and injustice,

now he rests in the warm islands of the southern hemisphere.

The crowds for the liberation of the motherland are tired and disheartened

rose up to fight, struggling to earn and reclaim their land.

Crowds for democracy are tired, drunk and angry

While walking, thousands of people spent thousands to seek refuge abroad.
